8/9/09 Photos of The Day
My daughter Autumn came by this morning so I finally got the photos I have been wanting to get for quite awhile...both grandbabies in one picture! I called Ashley & had her bring Sarah over.I set the studio up in the living room this morning by myself and it was my first time to set up a complete studio. The photos I took of Autumn & Leah were taken first and the lighting was too bright so I had to work on the photos quite a bit. I was taking a friends advice and focusing less on the technical stuff and gettting back to what originally made me love photography. I love capturing moments! Sometimes your close friends have to help you to see things. When my husband finally woke up this morning he helped me with all the settings so when I took the photos of all 4 the lighting was muchhhh better.I will be so happy when I know this stuff and can do all the technical stuff on my own. Until then I am going back to enjoying photography again.I still have more photos to go through and work on but I figured i would post a few :)

Took some photos of Ashley & Sarah tonight and I was much more pleased with the lens I am used to using. I might be sticking with this one! These photos turned out muchhhhhhhh better!

The first 3 photos are of my daughter Ashley with her husband Steven and of course my Sarah Bird :) The last 2 photos are of my son Anthony who is forever attempting to be the biggest ham...lol They tagged along with me when I went to do a photo shoot and I took some photos of them also. This was on Ft George Island and also the boneyard on Big Talbot Island. Great places for photography!!

This is the other side of my daughters family...the Quinns. Their father and cousin and grandparents. They were all there in supporting Autumn in her baptism of Leah. These are some good folk. I wanted them to have a few photographs with the group together. I know myself how hard it is to get the group together.

My daughter Ashley is 21 today :) Happy Birthday baby girl! We showed up at her place around midnight with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to her. She was having a slumber party with a few of her girlfriends. I'm glad she is having a fun birthday.
